Simple method unlock lumia 710 rm-809 + rm-803 - GSM-Forum

Many users are still confused about patch here and there so i make it easier for noobs.

this is not my work only compile and use idea so thanks to nss team.

what u should know is that the lumia 710 has RM-809 come with

Dload bootloader and
Qualcomm bootloader

Dload bootloader means boot is locked = must be changed to Qualcomm before you can unlock.

Qualcomm just go straight and do unlock procedure if you have Qualcomm.

To know what type of Loader you have follow this :

Open device manager in you PC (Just so you dont miss the driver installation, its better view able in Device manager)

Power off your phone , dont plug the USB as yet.

Hold VOLUME UP button and plug the USB in the PC.

Check device manager.

You will have a DLOAD or a Nokia cable connectivity or a Qualcomm technology.

In case of DLOAD and Nokia cable connectivity. Nothing else will be noticeable.

If you get a Qualcomm, u will get a box to format Disk, say NO!

SO now

Qualcomm = unlocked bootloader

DLOAD = Locked bootloader

Lets start.

I assume you have lumia 710 RM-809

first thing you should do is go to this link and download this driver and install

I recommend windows 7

WinUSB Drivers x86.rar for 32 bit users

WinUSB Drivers x64.rar * for 64 bit users
now u have the right drivers

step2

Download latest nss from the link below and extract from rar

http://gsmcoder.net/downloads/NssPro_0.53_0_b.rar

you should see folders like below picture

download the two bootloaders from the link below

Qualcomm bootloader files for NSS.rar

extrack this rar and u will find two files, place in loaders\special\wp7

we are now set to convert dload bootloader to qualcomm

connect your phone to pc and let drivers install.

I recommend you click the installing driver notification and click skip getting driver from net.

after driver is installed, remove battery, insert battery, press and hold volume up and insert cable, leave phone after vibrate for the osbl driver to install.

all set.

reinsert battery and start phone in normal mode, connect to pc.

open nss and read info to see if sw is reading your phone.

like picture below.

once your phone is readed, go to flashing tab ontop of software

click install and wait, your phone should be switched to obsl mode. if driver was not installed it will auto install driver aagain so software may fail but try click install again.

you will see a pop asking for format just cancel. this is very important.

dont click format.

software will show nand disk drive like picture above.

then after click cancel go to the simlock tab, click unlock

like picture below, and phone should get unlocked.

now phone is unlocked. you need to insert an unaccepted sim, phone will ask for code, enter 00000000 (zero 8 times) and phone will accept.

final step connect back to software and click unlock again for software to restore original phone data.

if your phone already came with qualcomm bootloader just install driver in first post and and go straight to unlock tab and finish process.

hope someone is assisted. I had alot of pm thats why i posted this.
