Member: 2435411 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | hi thanks for that. ive tried the latest version of the digiprog 3 & it cant do it through obd, ive had the cluster out & disassembled but no common knowledge as to what ic is the correct one. so still looking for a product/software that can do this job. ive had much speculation as to what product will do the job as i had with the digiprog but before i spend more money i need to know for sure that the item will actually do the job. so can anyone tell me for sure what product/software can do this job that wont break the bank? thanks again |

Member: 2435411 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ok thanks for that. ive seen the first 3 options & they are not relevant to this models different circuit board, but am most interested in the last as i have not seen this. the only issue i see here is the 2010 mondeo comes with or without various options & the one i have here does not have remote starting, ie... can only be started by using the key. i still may have a go but starting with key although it probably wont work. what are your thoughts on the blue obd2 device on the last drop you gave me as my plug/cable 16 is not wifi as i suspect the blue one is... therefore how would you use this with the digiprog as im sure they are not wifi enabled? very interesting still & thanks for your trouble! |

Member: 2538782 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I am looking to program 2007 Escalade, 2008 silverado, and a 2004 BMW x5.... What is best and cheapest recommendations? I prefer to use the OBD 2, but I have some experience at clipping onto the chips. Any used equipment out there ? Thanks, Rob |
