| Big problem with audi a3 crypto dash !! hi i have a real big problem and hope to gain some advice from here . i have an audi a3 2005 with crypto dash and 93lc86c eprom needed login and mileage correction on dash so was advised to dump eprom with vag k+ can . could not dump entire eprom to retrieve login amnd mileage . was then told to use a programmer so i removed eprom from clocks and read it with a willem programmer . in hex editor dump is all ff ff ff ff did not erase just attempted to read over and over for hours always same result ff ff ff ff inserted eprom back onto dash , dash is now dead and reads .DEL nothing works and car does not start and is immobilised bought new 93cl86c eprom to try to write part dump from vag k+can to eprom . willem says program succesful but when read this is also ff ff ff ff if i replace dash with used one . how can i get immobiliser to work and how can i program my key to this dash ? i have vcds original and maybe adapt clocks if i can get login but key will not work and mileage will also be wrong . some one please advise thank you |

| when soldered back into clocks ,pins have been checked for continuity eprom is correct way in clocks , as for the rotated pins i have checked the data sheet for the eprom and the eprom doesnt seem to be rotated . the only problem i find is no one wants to share the information . im concerned with the willem not reading the eprom after it returns a succesful burn . |

it looks like you had the programmer set to bigger than 93c86 when reading.. Very odd.. I suggest looking for another dump from a similar clocks and compair.. | |
