| think i could be struggling to get pin code from this second set of clocks , mileage is possible with r250 . still not sure its possible to change cluster even with audi online computer ,without skc from these clocks other soloution would be a dump from a set of 2005 93lc86 8p0980981b clocks with login and mileage . |

| is there any tools that can definately retrieve the skc code from 2007-2008 clocks ? what im thinking is i have 3 options 1. hopefully find someone with correct dump for my 2005 clocks with skc so i can re-adapt them . 2. find a tool that will definately retrieve skc from new (secondhand) 2007-2008 clocks so i can adapt them to car with a price upto £1000 3. bite bullet and buy brandnew a3 clocks from dealer and hopefully (audi are funny gits and like to know how the dash is broken) get them to transfer the data needed online from germany . cost approx £600 for dash programming ,plus car is stuck on drive so would need recovering to take to dealers aprox £150 total £750 for a 1 time job . ide rather buy a tool to do the job that i could either ,resell and get some cash back or 2 let my brother and his mate lend it and pay me for privelidge (strange it seems but they own an independant vw- audi garage but dont have VAS online with vw/audi |

| is it possible to retrieve login from this type of cluster though as i guess most owners wont have a copy of there login code. a3 2005 vdo 24 with 93cl86 . i thought maybe an r200 would be needed to retrieve login . anyways off to audi forums to request a dump for clocks fingers crossed . |

I have a login reader for 2006 onwards and upto 2005.. should be able to sort something out.. Quote:
like the dump you posted.. that was a 24 series.. you need a set of clocks with a 93c86 chip controlling it.. Last edited by spider-man; 03-07-2010 at 10:06. | ||
