Mercedes Sprinter Immobilizer - GSM-Forum

Hi all....

I have a great problem with my car. A few month ago in my Sprinter beguns to light sometimes the EDC on the board. After 2 or 3 month the motor stops working, but after 3 or 4 tryings starts. But 2 month ago stops functioning . I did change the High Pressure Pump. Something else was wrong and it didn`t starts again. It has a problem with the Immobilizer. I haul it to the service of the Mercedes in germany where is now. They said to me (after 2 weeks, that I know after 3 minutes) it has a problem with the immobilizer. And will costs me 3000 euro!
How can I deactivate , or how can I resolve this problem?

in the dash do u have sometimes the problem "Start Error" even if it's a problem with Immo, it will not cost all this ... 3000€ OW my head !

I can easely work it for u (cause it need experience and not easy at all for a beginner) .. but sorry i'm so far away :'(

it doesn` deletete immo, it just repair key calculation! and there is also posibility that your sprinter lose totaly key and then you can`t repair whis this , and the You need to write new key
Also immo box can be defect , coil can be defect, Ecu don`t receive aknowlige from IMMO.

You must make test to know for sure what is the problem there!

Hi:
1.- I have similar problem in my M.B Sprinter 2.2 L. (star error).
2.- What "coil" can be with defect?.
3.- Is there same immo off for this ECU MB?.
4.- I have all dump: immo (0J66D), ecu (5P08C3) and flash (29F800)
