Member: 201816 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | How to make adaptation on VW Polo 9N1 Comfort module? I have to recode a comfort module on a VW Polo 1.4D 9N1 year 2003. It has to be replaced because the original one was gone to die. :-) Some functions are not enabled on the new one, even if it is the same as the old one. I cant found the original code number from the old module because they wont communicate. How can I know the original code now for this Comfort module for this car? I use the Autocom diag equipment. Thanks... |

Member: 201816 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Yea, the modul have an eeprom and I can swap them. Good idea, thx. Other way, what can I do if the eeprom data is corrupted in the old module? Or the eeprom is bad maybe? Is there any way to get the right configuration of the car? This is not the case in my situation but, I thinking ahead, maybe I will come into a situation where the eeprom swap is not working... |

At this point I know the original code from this car is 00014 but what when in the other unit is another code and I do not know my old code? How can I retrieve the 00014? |
