How to repair Vag com VCDS cable? 10.6.4 11.2 11.3 - GSM-Forum

Hey there

I bought my cable from vag-diagnostics VAG113 Dual-K & CAN, unfortunately they don't want to help(not responding). I think my vag com got updated, not sure though. The cable was meant for 10.6.4 11.2 and 11.3 at some point I had 11.11 on my laptop. Then the cable stopped working too.

I got a fresh windows install now, I have tried vidpidfix and mprog, I got it to the point where I can install the drivers, the cable is recognized. Before that my pid was 0403 and vid 6001 after using vidpidfix and mprog I have pid 0403 and vid fa20

When I connect the cable to the car the light is green, I can test and it is seems like it's firmware version 1.84 and everything is ok beside CAN: not ready. In ABOUT I'm getting Unregistered.

The cable has FT232BL and ATMEGA162

Does anyone if there is still a chance to repair this cable? and does anyone has some instructions?

In the tut it shows vcds 805.0 my cable is a vag dianostics 113, it's broke can I reprogram it to 11.11, I have cd with it on,any help please mickhd

I know your thread is ancient. Do you still have a copy of the software that came with your cable? Mine was damaged and I can't reach the company. Thanks in advance. Shawn

If it is an original cable you may ask Rosstech to fix it.

if it is a clone version,you would better to buy one again.It is cheap.
