Unlock SCT X3 3015 OBD-ii flash tool

Need help to unlock this flasher that is MARRIED to a single vehicle. I cannot update or erase the information without UNMARRIED from the vehicle first. (Plugging the flasher into the vehicle's OBD-ii port and un register) ..a type of lock. The device's own update tool says explicitly to not try to update or flash the device without unmarried first.

It has USB for flashing updates through official software. It can enter a different mode by holding cancel button and inserting usb to a blank all lit screen.

Does anyone know how to unlock it? Thinking it has a VOID sticker to open it for a reason..

This is what a retailer has to say:

"SCT and Diablosport devices VIN lock (marries) to a single vehicle. You cannot use the device to tune a new or different vehicle until you have returned the original vehicle back to stock, which will unlock the device. You can only change vehicles 5 times before the unit is permanently locked. To reset the changes or unlock the device, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly. Service charges do apply."
