| I have also VAG912 usb china cable, it was functioning with a laptop and Windows XP with VCDS 9.08. I have changed laptop, i have installed Windows XP, VCDS 9.08 (sent with my cable) and latest FTDI cable drivers, but VCDS asked for fix my cable......... i' have fixed it and not works............. The VCDS has changed the cable PID in FA24, but it is visible to VCDS only if disconnected from car OBD2; when i connect the cable to OBD2 the VCDS says cable not found......... Anyone have the flash template to update the FT232R chip in the cable? I can change the VID-PID and other using FT_Prog (from FTDI site), but i don't know what i must change to make working cable.......... TheJackall |
