dexter i have a dell latitude e6220 laptop.
service tag: hf0zwp1-1d3b

i read on the internet that the motherboard has a chip on it that stores the password for the bios. the chip is a 24c02 and if you soder a wire to one side of the third solder joint and another wire to the other side same joint and hook the motherboard up with the battery and the try to start the laptop and touch the 2 wires together it will get rid of the password. i haven't tried it yet but i wondering if you have heard of this procedure.
