I tried an unlocker to kill CMOS and that didn't work, and now it doesn't even boot without the password. Code after 3 wrong passwords is 08527 Many thanks in advance, Chris. |

When you set a hard drive password, it is stored in the firmware of the drive itself, in its onboard controller, and not on the disk. It is heavily encrypted and since it resides in the controller, and not on the disk, it is not in a location where Windows or any other operating system can read it to try any sort of password cracker. A locked hard drive for which the password has been forgotten is rendered unusable.if u open system hardware and open simos battery then bios pass remove. Car rental India |
