Yep, tried the password again with the added ctrl + enter and it still didn't work. Keep claiming its the wrong password.

Oh, could it be that it's not working because I downgraded the OS? I came with Vista Home Premium, but now it has XP on it. Could that be why the password don't work?

Thanyou cocosel, the password j8yw3slf worked for the bios and I was able to clear it.
Now it's asking me for a HDD password in the bois and the one's about didn't work for the HDD.
the Dell start up screen now has on it:

I'll put all the info in one post.
I've wiped the bios password useing: j8yw3slf
Thanks to cocosel.
But a Dell HDD password in the bois still remains unknown.

It is a Dell Inspiron 1545
Model # PP41L
SERVICE TAG(S/N): D9JVFL1
EXPRESS SERVICE CODE 28875745189

On the Dell start up screen it now says:
Hard-disk #XG1A40T8403-595B

Can anyone generate a password for this?
Thanks.
