Looks like your options are limited to either contacting Dell support (They can help you) Here: RouteTo or pay a commercial password site. Such as: DELL 1D3B 1F5A Bios Password Recovery -This site owner is kind enough to offer us a break. This is discount code for gsmhosting users: D727483940

tyx6ixht Or it could be one of these: 48jiigez 4Y490P4P8qsbI497 Instructions: Passwords are for QWERTY keyboard only (standard US). Case sensitive. Some units only require pressing <enter> after password, some require pressing <ctrl>+<enter> after password and some require holding down <ctrl> while pressing <enter> once or twice. Please report back with results. Good luck.

Turns out l need a new keyboard for my Studio 1440/14z! when none of the masters worked(from the links you posted), l decided to try a USB keyboard, (in my OP l couldn't understand why the HDD pass wasn't working, after a few years without issue) Anyway, my HDD password worked fine with USB keyboard. My lappy's "X" key is apparently stuck/broken. Still l appreciate your help immensely because without it, l might not have tried, the alternate keyboard, and been without, for who knows(how long)
