Need ONE TIME Password for Sony Vaio Bios - Page 23 - GSM-Forum

I don't have the service tag or the serial number for they have been removed by the last owner. but I have the 16 digit numbers that it displays after you fail the password attempt 3 times. is there another way to get the service tag or serial number maybe from inside the laptop. I know that the 16 digit number always changes so..... I think the model number is VGN FW. MAYBE vgnfw490cd

Dear Rithien,
Looks like you're the last one standing. I've tried to find the program needed to generate the unlocking sony bios password for my vaio, but was unsuccessful.
Would you mind to have a look for me, please ?
the one time password that came up after i failed 3x to login to the bios is:
PVFV-XDFH-23KV-2R93 (will it change nxt time i go there ? )

last 7 digits from serial number: 5000469
sony vaio VGN-AR31E

Install Vaio Control Center and will give you all the details you need.

I tried to change my bios password 2 days ago but I guess I did something wrong.
That's my old computer (a vaio TX, 4 years old). I didn't registered it and it's now too late.
