Provide detail , what service u need ?

There is not ONLY ONE data base..

There are too many off these.. and it is hard to find a direct source for all of them in one place

User enters imei into field and it pulls up make and model. No need any further details, just make and model number.

No, I`m seeking solution for handset purchasing site because i`ve had a similar domain to "sell phone . com" for some years and now going to setup site. Therefore for user to choose make/model otherwise enter imei to pull up handset make/model. Simples

I see that this topic is more then 5 months old but maybe you should check IMEI database.
