Three UK Flex Policy from Carphone Warehouse - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I need an unlock from Three/Hutchison UK, but only those iPhones with Flex Policy, purchased from Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U.
IT IS NOT AN UNLOCK FOR IPHONES PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THREE/HUTCHISON UK.

I know there is such a service, but its running bad, thats why I am looking for a better one.

3 UK have admitted ALL handsets are now either unlocked, or free to unlock. If you have new iphone 6/6plus it is already unlocked. For all previous, just put into DFU mode and then set up as new iphone. Voila Unlocked!

Thnx, I know about it already, thats why i wrote "IT IS NOT AN UNLOCK FOR IPHONES PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THREE/HUTCHISON UK."

When you buy an iPhone from Carphone Warehouse or Phones4U they get simlocked to the first simcard you put in your phone. Thats what their Flex Policy means.
Some people put Three Hutchison simcards first, so their iPhones got simlocked to this network.
THEY ARE NOT UNLOCKED NOW as they were not purchased directly from network.

Simple, activate it with a Hutchison UK sim card and make a call for 5 minutes and tell us.

Phones that I already have were activated with Three UK simcard by their previous users.
So whom shall I call as you say? I don't have any contract with Three UK, I don't even live in the UK.

I understand what your saying, as far as I know if you buy it from Carphone Warehouse UK and it gets locked on to three, the only solution as far as Im aware is to ring them and get it unlocked. Its a bit of a hassle since they will deny its on their network but if you tell them they should be able to get it unlocked, if anyone has any other simpler method I'm listening

Unfortunately we tried this one as well, as it is present on their website for a few years. But all you get from it is they contact you and ask to call them for further info. And when you call you hear they are really sorry, but can't help...

Only solution is unlocking service. We used to have one for Carphonwe Warehouse locked Three's, but it doesn't work for about a week. So we are looking for new supplier.
