| Hi, I have an HTC Wildfire whose GPS, proximity. touch panel, ambient light, and compass sensors are all not working. Even the joypad is not working (except in recovery where the centre button works). Only the volume buttons are working. I can only control the phone via screencast. I have changed ROMS but problem still persists. The charging/notification LED also does not work. The phone appears to have suffered some water damage (bought on **** in that state). Has anyone ever faced this problem? I was thinking that this could be something as simple as a crystal oscillator or a diode for the sensor IC having a dry joint. The problem is that I don not know which IC controls these sensors. DOes anyone know? IF you can let me know or if you have any schematics I would appreciate it. Thanks. |
