It can be no LCD problem, Desire 820 have problems with touch controller.

Solution 1, Replace it.

Solution 2, If the phone not required,just the data inside is required. Then you can use HDBox to operate on the phone without touch. HDBox ? FULL ACTIVATED | HDB Team

Change touch controller. But it's hard to do, controller is soldered between CPU and memory. There is big GND field under touch IC, do it carefully to not kill the board
