Thumbs up htc hardware

The HTC Dream also marketed as T-Mobile G1 in the US and parts of Europe and Era G1 in Poland is an Internet-enabled 3G smart phone with an operating system designed by Google and hardware designed by HTC. It was the first phone to the market that uses the Android mobile device platform. The phone is part of an open standards effort of the Open Handset Alliance.

The HTC Dream was released in the US on 22 October 2008; in the UK on 30 October 2008; and became available in other European countries including Austria, Netherlands, and the Czech Republic in early 2009. It was released in Germany in February 2009 with a QWERTZ keyboard and in France in March 2009 with an AZERTY keyboard . On 10 March 2009, it became available in Poland as Era G1 under a local mobile brand affiliated with T-Mobile.Hard Disk Manager

[HARDWARE FAULT] WiFi antenna fault. HTC One X [24.07.2012]

Welcome,

There is a number of gist here about general WiFi problems on the HTC One X (HOX)
although, this gist is expressly for the verified (by the community & regrettably me) (and eventually HTC since 18.06.2012) hardware obvious error of a loose attachment on the WiFi antenna.

If you are suffering from a actually awful WiFi or Bluetooth attachment and think you may have this hardware fault, there is a simple test you can do. Please only do this check if you are certain you could have the problem, PillipL interprets why here

The compress check

Gently compress the side back of your telephone, between the camera lens and the volume buttons. If your WiFi pointer strength advances only to drop back down when you halt compressing, then you have this seemingly common fault.
