Member: 2546435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | HTC One M7 dead In short: it is dead and it does not charge. Full story (short version): My HTC ran warm frequently and hung up on itself before booting and auto rebooted frequently. Even before the logo came up so it could not even be shut down as the timer every time restarted. It only helped when it cooled down in a fridge or outside. Then it booted and it could be shut down to cool down. After a while the problems became worse, especially in the summer. Then I gave up. It worked but not when it was heated up. After I put it away it did not always charge. Right now it does not charge at all. So current situation: I have one, almost new undamaged HTC One M7. I tried: - Charging it. But it does not charge. It charges with 0,04 to 0,07 Amps at 5,05 Volts. - Starting the phone with buttons as power button, power button with volume up. For a few seconds up to 10 mins and every other advise there is on the internet with buttons - Checking if it does anything in any situation: no leds, no sound, no changes in charging, no responses on the screen nothing at all. - The only thing it does is that Windows does detect a device is connected to the laptop. - I replaced the charging print in the phone, which did not help. Any idea where I can start (except getting a hammer and smashing it to pieces)? |
