Thumbs up Amazon Kindle Fire 5th SV98LN question [Solved]


Hi
I having problem whit this tablet. Bricked by downgrading firmware.
No it not able to power up at all. This is an MTK device MT8127 but it has a locked bootloader so flashing is not possible. Can anyone tell me how to find the emmc pinout?

Hello.

Unfortunately, we have no eMMC (ISP) pinout for this device at the moment. If You have good experience, to repair the device You can try to remove eMMC from PCB.

KLM8G1GEND-B031 has BGA 153 package. Here is eMMC BGA 169 pinout picture, BGA 153 pinout is the same:





Please attentively solder all necessary wires directly to eMMC contacts and then try to connect eMMC. Or You can use proper eMMC BGA 153 adapter without soldering wires.

i can't found pin out amazon fire 5th
i found cmd = dato = clk
put i can't found 1.8v and 2.8v
and i wont dump file for repair

Hi
Here is a new picture and repair firmware i used.
I only soldered clk,dat0,cmd,gnd and conected to power and battery.
Flash whit this firmware then update the tablet whit recovery sideload.
You can download original update from amazon. I used this one
update-kindle-global-37.5.6.0_user_560177220.zip

Please post here screenshot of Windows Device Manager with the device (mediatek port), which appears, when You connect the your device to PC, we will check.
