Reading data problem [Answered]


Hi,
I'am trying to recover data from an eMMC on Octoplus Box Pro on win 10 x64. It starts recovering then at 2/3% it stops working.

Hello.

As I see, here an error has been arrised during of reading data from eMMC:

The problem can be with the eMMC chip (HW issue, most likely) or with bad eMMC connection. Try to re-connect the device with another (different) Bus speed values and repeat the operation again. At first try to read our Full flash backup from the device instead of extracting data. Post here the result.

Also note, if there is Android 5.1 or higher firmware version in your device, it will be not possible to extract user data from eMMC because, on Android 5.1 and higher versions user data encryption is set by default and currently no solution on how to decrypt them

I tried with a lower bus speed but the issue still stand. About Android, since it's a Samsung s4 the version is older than 5.1
