GT-i9300 - How to write virgin eMMC [Answered]

Hi at all
I want to know of to write a virgin eMMc for i9300 with Medusa Pro.
It's my first attempt, I have solder wire on the eMMC and Medusa Pro can connect to it.
So what is the next step?

I have to do "Smart Repair" or I have to use "eMMC serivices"?

Thank you for reply.

Yes, at first You need to configure eMMC accordingly to Live log file (text file with eMMC connect operation and setting info from eMMC chip of working GT-I9300). Then perform "Smart Repair" of "Factory Repair".

Please post here full Software log with connect information of your new eMMC, we will check it and advice what to do the next.

As You can see from Software log:
Quote:
Partition config : 00000000
Boot partition enable : Device not boot enabled (default) (Bus width = 4Bit)
Boot ACK : No boot acknowledge sent (default)
but accordingly to Live Log, should be the following:
Quote:
Partition config : 01001000
Boot partition enable : Boot partition 1 (Bus width = 4Bit)
Boot ACK : Boot acknowledge sent during boot operation Bit
Please set necessary eMMC boot settings ("eMMC service" tab, "Boot operation mode" button), then select "Boot Partition Area 1" option in Software and write "SAMSUNG GT-I9300 (BOOT1).BIN" from the Support Area. After this do "Smart Repair". Post here full Software log with all of these operations.

The Following User Says Thank You to Octopus box For This Useful Post:

How to set? I will post an image.

I've tried to leave it with the parameter on the screen, then I write Boot Partition Area 1 and then do a Smart Repair.

The writing happened successfully.

I will post you a LOG.

I think isn't good, because you told me that I should find

Partition config : 01001000
Boot partition enable : Boot partition 1 (Bus width = 4Bit)
Boot ACK : Boot acknowledge sent during boot operation Bit

but I already have

Partition config : (0x00) 00000000
Boot partition enable : Device not boot enabled (default) (Bus width = 4Bit)
Boot ACK : No boot acknowledge sent (default)

Why You don't set necessary boot emMc values? You should set:
Quote:
Partition config : 01001000
Boot partition enable : Boot partition 1 (Bus width = 4Bit)
Boot ACK : Boot acknowledge sent during boot operation Bit
at "Boot operation mode" settings. Then write boo1 and so "Smart Repair" or "Factory Repair".
