Repair boot without soldering [Answered]


To day i see something in facebook can your team say its real or not ?

Yes, this small adapter is for old Medusa Box for standard JTAG Jigs. It is for connecting devices, which has standard JTAG connectors on PCB via JTAG.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Samsung SM-G532F and most of latest produced devise (which were produced approximately the last 3-4 years) doesn't support repairing via JTAG; in such devices JTAG is closed or not active. In most cases, they can be repaired only via eMMC (via ISP or direct connection, which need soldering necessary wires or using proper eMMC adapter) or via USB.

What do You mean exactly? It is now can be repaired via eMMC.

Yes, even now JTAG is closed in most currently produced devices.
