about lg ms345 unlock progress - GSM-Forum

i have lg ms345 and it's unlock by official device unlock app.

i can dump any security partitions to find out if there is any interesting information to use it for locked phones.

i know that octopus box supports imei repair for this model

so i think first we should test if we will set unlocked phone's imei to locked phone and than we will use device unlock app if there will be any progress.

Hello.

If You have locked phone and going to Unlock it via service - read out phone's Full Flash before and after unlock. Upload received Full Flash file and send us download links. This might help in research.

yes but i don't have locked phone i have only unlocked one. but i think many users of this phone has locked this model. because of there are too many post on this forum about this phone unlocking. so i will upload my unlocked phones full nand flash and we will wait for anyne else who will upload it from locked phone

Edit: i know dd backup from adb which partition you guys needed from by-name?

unfortunatelly i have bad news this model have network problems with these bands GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / UMTS 2100 / LTE 1800 these bands are used in my country and i think in europe also (and in most of countries outside of usa)

MS345 specs:

2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 1700(AWS) / 1900
4G bands LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 12(700)

so as seen there are same bands on 2g but this model has problems of network.

e.g network operator is written but some calls is coming and outgoing well some calls says that the number is out of coverage or mobile phone is turned off.

so i think that unlock solution priority is low now

p.s i even flashed this phone with h345 firmware (tmobile) but everything is exactly same

Ah.. so i took one locked and one unlocked did change the imei and request unlock code from metropcs.. and result was.. unlock fail, try again later.. sadly switching imei didnt work either.. thinking too do full nand backup of unlock phone and then flash it on locked one! what you guys say?
