Activating octopus or plus? - GSM-Forum

Is there a possibility to activate octopus software with another smart card, ex infinity or bb5 dongle, setool or whatever?
It well be highly appreciated if I can get correct list of all supported models via software only (not server based) thanks in advance.

Hello.

Unfortunately it is not possible to add Octopus activation to smart cards of mentioned tools. Octoplus/Octopus LG Activation is available only for Dreambox, Octopus, Octoplus and Medusa boxes.

All solutions are stand alone, connection to server, etc. is not required.

Ok, i have dream box and will check it as opportunity.

a:Need to know difference of octopus and octoplus ?
b: Year price for download or support ?

Octoplus box has COM and JTAG interfaces, while Octopus box has only COM interface.
There's no any kind of fees after box purchase. You pay only once, for box. Support Area and support in general are free.
