Hello.

1. Install the latest Software versino (Software).
2. Fully charge phone's battery by using external charger.
3. Connect the phone directly to motherboard USB port, don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important.
4. Perform the operations again.
5. Try to use LG P999 cable with 910 kOhm resistor inside instead of standart Micro USB cable.
6. Try to perform the operation on another PC.

This means, that there is problem with phone's EFS or/and Security, modem firmware is damaged or your device has HW issues. Try to make Repair and Reset Security. If IMEI is still null, try to re-flash the phone by using original firmware and flasher (writing firmware is currently not supported for this device). If after writing firmware the problem is the same - check HW, this can be HW problem.
