D802 Flashing question - GSM-Forum

hello
a customer just bring me his G2 D802 with a virus that turn on the data automatically
he made hard rest but in vain so we need to flash the phone

it is D802 16 gb
flash on the phone is d80210e-ame-xx

so which file to flash from the support area (with arabic language)

i already downloaded v30c_00 but didnt flash yet

can i flash it or do i have to download another version

Hello.

V10e firmware, which has the phone at the moment, is one of the first firmwares for this model. You can try to write any firmware from the Support Area. It will be an update, so there should not be any problems.

The problem with arabic language >> there is no mea in all firmwares at support >
i am afraid after writing this one i cannot get back to older or downgrade to arabic firmware .
Do u think that all of them are worldwide firmwares ?

We have uploaded "d802_00_v30a_are" firmawre into the Support Area. This firmware is for United Arab Emirates, so it should contain Arabic language.

one last question sir, if i flash v30c , can i roll back to v30a?

There should not be any problems with flashing of V30a firmware, while phone has V30c.
