Hello.

1. What cable do You use axactly? Note, You should use special LG P999 cable with 910 kOhm resistor inside, not standart Micro USB cable. Also, connect the phone directly to PC motherboard USB port, don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important.

2. If Software can't put the device into Download Mode automaticaly, put the phone into DM manually and press "OK" button in the Software.

3. Try to repeat the operation on another PC.

I am also having the same problem I have the p999 cable and it is giving me the same error

Also, do the next:

1. Fully charge phone's battery by using external charger, connect the phone directly to PC motherboard USB port, don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important.

2. If Software can't put the device into Download Mode automaticaly, put the phone into DM manually and press "OK" button in the Software.

3. Try to repeat the operation on another PC.

Post here full Software log (or send us to PM, if You can't post here) with all of your actions.
