H818P and H955 dead after flash - GSM-Forum

hi for all
am have 2 devices lg g4 H818P and g flex 2 H955 dead after flash by octopus software... from first tow devices hang LG logo after flashed dead completely cant enter emergency mode just black screen but with holding both vol +and - and power for 5 sec just show device bar code with imei ... is this devices need repair boot or can flashing it by another way please help team .......

Hello.

At first please, post here full software logs of Write Firmware operation ( log files from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Octoplus\Octoplus_LG\LOG" folder )
Such error is occurred after downgrading firmware or writting incorrect (unsopportred) firmware (Octoplus Software led to convert and write firmware old versions) on your own risk.

As You can see from the software log: You are reflash the phone with old version of firmware (downgrade) V10F version ( on your phone was V10k), You can try to repair the phone with software that support Dead Boot Repair, unfortunately Medusa Software isn't supported Dead Boot Repair for this phone model, we will try to add support in future updates.

Same problem here "Handset get dead after flash"
You guy said that the device is downgrading from latest version and this can brick the device.
So when the device will stuck on logo then how can check the version.
And on support there is only 1 file then every buddy will flash with that firmware.
Kindly please upload latest firmware.
And as soon as possible please add boot repair in medusa

Hello.

According to the Software log, your phone's battery charge was 3% it's to low to perform Write Firmware operation, You need to fully charge phone's battery, before flashing, please try to full charge phone's battery and try to put the phone into Emergency mode manually, after repeat Write Firmware operation again.
Also, please install the latest Software version
