Hello.

To write firmware, do the next:

1. Power the phone off.
2. Remove SD and SIM cards from the phone.
3. Select "OMAP" connection mode in the Software.
4. Select firmware file.
5. Click "Write Firmware" button.
6. Follow software instructions (prompts).

Note: You should use the special LG P999 cable with 910 kOhm resistor inside.

Do You use the special LG P999 cable with 910 kOhm resistor inside? Please use this cable. Connect the phone directly to PC motherboard USB port, don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important. Try on another PCs.

This problem can arrise, if You connect the device not directly to motherboard USB port, and used USB port have no anough power. The problem also can be with cable.

Please use correct cable, connect the device directly to PC motherboard USB port, don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important. Try on another PCs. And also try on the PC with Win XP. Write here the result.
