What windows version and software version? Try another motherboard USB port

Hello.

Yes, install the latest Software version (Software), disconnect all other devices from PC, reboot the PC, re-start the phone, connect the device directly to PC motherboard USB port (don't use any USB hubs or PCI USB extention cards, this is important) and try again. Try on another PC. Write here the result.

Please do the next:

1. Go to "Settings -> Networks -> Tethering & Networks -> Turn on "USB tethering";
2. Connect powered-on phone to PC with P999 cable (with 910kOm resistor);
3. Try to perform "Repair IMEI" operation.

I was having the same problem. My log is below. I am not sure what caused this issue. It is an issue with the drivers. I got my d851 imei repair to work. This is what I did to get it to work:

When it says switching to "Download mode" unplug the phone from the usb. Wait until Octoplus says please manually put the phone in Download mode. Then plug the phone in. Wait about 3-4 minutes. Open device manager and pay attention to the LG G3 MTP. Everything will look fine, but for some reason you have to wait until a yellow triangle shows up where "LG G3 MTP" is. Now once it shows the triangle, select "ok" and it will then initialize flash mode and read partition...etc. Then the second step is that if it switches to normal mode, it may fail to restore the qcn. So restore the qcn manually. After I rebooted my imei was strangely zeroed so I had to use efs pro to manually write the imei. Not sure what happened but all of my pcs (xp, windows 8, etc) suddenly had this problem even on older versions of octoplus. It can't be my pc, It has something to do with the box itself (firmware) or something else conflicting with the drivers. But this is how I got it to work.

You can buy this cable here: Optimus Cable for Octopus / Octoplus Box - GsmServer or easyly make it by soldering 910k resistor into standard Micro USB cable accordingly to the pinout picture in Software manual ("Cable & Manul" button in the Software).

I am not sure what caused this issue. It is an issue with the drivers. I got my d851 imei repair to work. This is what I did to get it to work: When it says switching to "Download mode" unplug the phone from the usb. Wait until Octoplus says please manually put the phone in Download mode. Then plug the phone in. Wait about 3-4 minutes. Open device manager and pay attention to the LG G3 MTP. Everything will look fine, but for some reason you have to wait until a yellow triangle shows up where "LG G3 MTP" is. Now once it shows the triangle, select "ok" and it will then initialize flash mode and read partition...etc. Then the second step is that if it switches to normal mode, it may fail to restore the qcn. So restore the qcn manually. After I rebooted my imei was strangely zeroed so I had to use efs pro to manually write the imei. Not sure what happened but all of my pcs (xp, windows 8, etc) suddenly had this problem even on older versions of octoplus. It can't be my pc, It has something to do with the box itself (firmware) or something else conflicting with the drivers. But this is how I got it to work.
