LG G3 D851 not getting detected, bad cable?


Platform: LG Qualcomm
Selected port: COM77
Selected model: D851
Reading info...Failed!
Could not detect mode!

The cable I'm using has a switch to select the mode:
I have it on 910K - UFS

Hello.

Please intsall drivers (Octopus Box Downloads - Software, Drivers, Manual), reboot the PC and do the next: Go to "Settings -> PC connection -> USB connection type -> Select USB Connection method" and select "LG Software" ("PC Software").

OK thanks I got it working the problem was the laptop underpowering the USB ports

Also note, You need to use LG P999 cable with 910 kOhm resistor inside, not standart Micro USB cable and connect the phone directly to PC motherboard USB port.
