LG G3s (beat) D722V permanently locked (help with Chinese download)

Hello friends,

I have a LG G3s D722V and I have been told that I need to flash the original german firmware to resolve my "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" problem. I have googled everything and tried everything but can't get rid of "service disabled" message. Although I have had a little success with Octopus by following one of the threads. I have got it to get a signal but only on one network - Lycamobile but when I dial 321 (top up) the phone seems to call out but doesn't do anything... stays silent, no sound.

I have been told that I have to flash the correct/original firmware, which I think is german vodafone, however, I have managed to find the firmware on a Chinese forum but I have no clue how to register in order to download it. Does anyone know Chinese and can help me download it? Google translate doesnt work. Your help is much appreciated:

The links are: (firmware I need: LG D722V Phone Firmware D72210B_00 Germany VODAFONE Edition)

?? - D722V - ??? - ??????? - WWW.GAODI.NET

LG D722V Phone Firmware D72210A_00 Germany VODAFONE Edition - G3 Beat - ??? - ??????? - WWW.GAODI.NET

I have flashed this with D722 firmware from the Octopus support - D72210e_00.oct

I didn't know there was a difference and I believe this is the cause of my errors above. Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot, but unfortunately, when I flashed this firmware it's the same or worse, only says "no service" but it's not blocked for sure. Also, I have been confused about the model number, it may just be model: D722 as it says at the back lable under battery. I read the D722V in the hidden menu (3845#*722#) somewhere. I have flashed it back to D722 firmware from Octopus support area.

Anyway, back to square A. I have tried all options and the only remaining thing is to flash files from another working phone. So if anyone has these files I could try?

Qcn, backup security, NVM or any other experimental files from a working LG G722 aka LG G3s (beat)

Just to summarize the problem:

The phone has a message "service disabled" and "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" on all options when I dial: 2945#*722# (IMEI is all fine and always shows up on *#06#, not blocked). I cannot get a signal, even after I attempt to unlock successfully. I didn't get a signal once but it was silent, no sound, but can't get it again. I tried all the options under Octopus software.

Thanks

Afew clues that may help:

(1) The phone seems to find the Sim/network at start up & asks if I want to enable data (which I do).
(2) I have a Sim with unread voice mail and it picks up the voice-mail message icon but due to no signal I can't obviously dial out to check.
(3) Under settings > mobile networks > network operators, it can maually search and finds all the networks in the area, but unable to connect and won't register on any network.

Nobody can help?

Here is an update:

I have just been working on an LG G3 D855 which has never been tampered with. Before attempting unlock, I quickly checked the condition of the lock by dialing 2945#*855# and it was all normal. The Sim lock option gave me 10 tries for an unlock code, but obviously I was going to use the box to unlock it. So after going through the process of unlock using the Octopus box, and then checking again to see what changes where made when dialing 2945#*855#. To my shock, I discovered it had the same message as my LG D722 - "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" .... OMG, I thought I had killed it .... However, after inserting a Sim card and doing a factory reset, the LG G3 D855 seem to be working fine but the "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked" message still remains.

Therefore the conclusion is that it is normal to have this error and the phone can work fine. This means that for my LG D722 issue, I am not going to worry about this message... However, I still need to fix the "service disabled" message and no signal problem.

Can anyone help? Thanks

OK, that sounds good. When I did Google searches to resolve my problem, I found that many people have had similar problems/issues, but unfortunately no conclusive solution. It would be great if we can solve this problem. I will be happy to pay postage costs. Please PM me your address details. Thanks for your help and support.
