LG G4 H818P Bricked/Dead While using

Dear All,

A friend have LG G4 H818P the Dual SIM variant, While he was using Facebook the device suddenly turned off, tried to charge it with no hope, can't enter download mode or hard reset

He gave it to me for a try, i try the old thing with wrapping the phone in a piece of cloth and left it in freezer for 30 minutes - don't laugh - plugged the battery and the phone is working !!! started with LG logo with no successful boot to main screens just LG Logo.

Once the phone isn't a freeze cold it wouldn't turn on !! which is very strange , every time i leave it in freezer for 15 minutes or less it works !!

Will try now to enter the hard reset and do it, also downloading it's latest KDZ and will try to flash it but any idea what's happening and how can i solve it ??

Hello.

In which condition your phone is now? Can You put the phone into Download mode manually ? Most likely it's HW problem with your device.

I think the person's case is worse than mine.

If short-circuited, then I shall see the Qualcomm 9008 like thing instead of LG Blah Blah Blah thing (COM4) when download mode enabled.

I am able to enter the download mode, which makes something faster. But which command, which frontend can help me to dump an entire partition image for further steps? I need a help right now.

LG G4 informaion: Roughly know my phone is not rooted, on Version 6.0 or Version 6.0.1, with knock-lock, H818N, 32GB ,adb functions disabled.

Hello.

If You can put phone into Download mode, You can try to flash it with firmware, if problem still remain, You can try to repair your device with Software which supports repairing it via eMMC or USB.
