I didn't root it, doesn't need to be for imei and unlock

Initially when connected phone in charging mode to pc in normal mode, i had com port(com44) installed and was performing unlocking but when phone switched to download mode to backup security files on phone upon the unlocking process, the com port(com44) disappeared when phone switched back to normal mode. Since i was no longer getting the com44 when charging mode was selected in normal mode on the same usb port, I had to connect phone and select MTP mode and this time i had com56 but phone failed to open serial port upon operation and now the software is asking the phone to be rooted. Please be patient enough to read my last post carefully. The problem is not the program software version. The phone has refused to provide the serial com port as it was previously before the operation was started and that is what i need to deal with. Thanks Product supporter

do a full factory reset, update to the latest firmware, mine was read by the program with debugging mode on in MTP usb mode, hope that helps you.
