hello has any one here succesfully rooted lg ms500 android version 4.1.2 by octopus? i need to unlock this phone...

Also try to root the phone by using the latest versions of VRoot, Kingo Root or Impactor Softwares.

i wait for a couple of minutes to that dialog but sad to say it was not shown on the screen. kingo is not working to this model

Then try to find another rooting Software/exploit and root the device manually.

If You want, You can write firmware from the Support Area, this firmware can be rooted by Software automaticly. But, as I see, there is newer firmware version in the phone, so You should downgrade it for your own risk.

Please be attentive, You should accept all Software requests, when Software tries to root the phone - press "Grant" button on the phone's screen every time when superuser dialog appears! Also You can try to root the phone manually. Try to use the latest versions of VRoot and Kingo Root Softwares.

team on the phone screen never comes out and try to root with root kingo vroot and will do nothing more than another program there to root

Look in phone's menu, whether SU icon appears there after the Software sent rooting exploit. Try to run SU app manually.

Also, try to root the device by using "Root Device" button at "Android Tools" tab in the Software.
