Do the following at your own risk:

1. Install this test Software version v2.8.9.5.
2. Fully charge phone's battery.
3. Read EEPROM Backup.
4. Select SP200 and write "SP200.._for_unlock" firmware
5. Put the phone into Download (Emergency) Mode AND write EEPROM Backup, this is important!
6. Post here the result.

No one is posting results which is kind of the point of testing, I know a number of techs who have used this software and software from other sources that leave their phones with problems and no one knows why.

Has anyone else had success or failure with this software that got it from here and used it on their phone with out having done anything to it previously?

I tested with one its unlocked but the imei will have to be repaired it seems also it takes some time to boot and had to do a factory reset. I will try another and post result

Well the instructions are pretty clear about the ERPROM back up being necessary because of the IMEI issue and I did notice that it sticks in the K8+ logo for a while but then it goes with no problem and I didn't have to do a factory reset but I did after about an hour just to see if it affected anything. Can you post the part of your log with the phones info before it was flashed with the unlock firmware? I'm just wondering if some people updated their phones and that may have something to do with failures or if some people are just lucky.
