Finally FIXED
unlock done. but: only using octopus box

Unlock once again and then: initial service disabled message at startup but then after hidden menu service, ....boom unlocked and full signal but no data and no apn change option, until now

Please, perform Open Hidden menu operation from the Android Tools tab in the Software, after check phone's screen You will see Hidden Menu, then try to do next:
1. Go to IOT(CDG2) option > LTE Settings > Operation mode.
2. select Lab Network option.

No it only says in greyed blocked letters

It seems like LG may have blocked this solution. I did this procedure a few times over the last few months on customers' phones after update. Now a recent update seem to have blocked this solution. The IOT(DDG2) menu option is no longer available in the hidden menu.

you can add APN via other HiddenMenuCall settings
