Need help Using Octopus with LG phones [Solved] - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys, I just purchased Octopus Box and trying to unlock LG phones and can not unlock a single phone. I installed all the drivers and have tried 3 models and keep getting messages like picture attached. Models I have tried unlocking are P659, MS659 E980. The program sees the phones and lets me remove user locks but does not unlock the phones. I have windows 7 32bit. Please let me know what could I be possible be doing wrong. Thanks in advance

Please post here full Software log with all of your actions, we need to see, which actions You have performed exactly with the device.

To connect and unlock the device, do the next:

1. Disconnect all other devices from PC.
2. Re-boot the PC.
3. Remove SD and SIM cards from the phone.
4. Enable USB Debugging Mode ("Settings" -> "Developer options" -> "USB Debugging").
5. Connect the powered on phone to PC via Micro USB cable.
6. Install the necessary driver.
7. Go to "Settings -> PC connection -> USB connection type -> Select USB Connection method" and select "LG Software" ("PC Software").
8. Click the "Unlock" button.
9. Follow software instructions (promts).

It worked, just an fyi in the software steps it did not say this step

Go to "Settings -> PC connection -> USB connection type -> Select USB Connection method" and select "LG Software" ("PC Software").
