Nexsus 5 (downgrade /repair) guide

As I have seen many user are facing problem regarding nexsus 5 unlock/repair .. So I am going to post a guide to do so for octopus users..

If you are on android 5.0 etc .. Than follow the steps below ( I am assuming you have already installed Lg drivers)

1- Go to https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Search for (Factory Images "hammerhead" for Nexus 5 (GSM/LTE))

2-Download (4.4.4 (KTU84P))

3-Unzip it using 7zip

you will get this



(If there is no adb fastboot ..put into this folder manually)

4-Turn off your mobile and connect it with usb using volume down button
It wil show boot loader..Check if boot loader is locked or unlocked ..If locked first unlock it using adb "fastboot oem unlock"..

5-Open flash-all.bat and wait for 5 minutes.. You have a mobile on andorid 4.4.4.

Now when you are below 5.0 android. You are ready to unlock or repair

No need to root .. Octopus will do it automatically ..

May users have been facing problem in connecting nexsus 5 to octopus software ..
1-enable usb debug (Always install lg drivers from support if repair fails while installing driver delay than do it from start again)
2- always put your eyes on screen of mobile to allow adb connection (tick always)
3-Do not untick qcn read and write as it will avoid no network issue (until you are an expert )

4-still facing problem than connect it into boot loader mode and do repair function..

5-Give it some time.. Don't try to do it quickly.
