What is the problem (what is the state) with your phone? Why do You want to Write firmware? What is the firmware version in your phone exactly?

The phone is alive,,always prompting this( unfortunately,the processb acom. android.phone has stopped)..another thing it does not detected the sim card..a new phone indeed.. I dont suspect hardware problem.

Do You use LG P999 cable (with 910k resistor)? Please use this cable. Also try to write another firmwares from the Support Area.
Uninstall all PC Suite software, BB software, modem dashboard software on your PC and try. Don't use any USB hubs or USB PCI cards, use motherboard USB port only.

I cant convert from DZ file to Oct file P705g.
I used Octopus LG Tool 2.5.0 sw and worked well.
