trying to unlock at&t lg g3 d850 on android 5.0.1 but won't read in normal mode anyway to do it?

it reads in download mode

Try to downgrade phone's firmware version to 4.4.x, make Unlock and then write 5.0.x Android firmware again.

Unfortunately, currently we have no firmwares for D850. We will try to find and, if we find, we will upload into the Support Area.

ok it looks like old drivers problem.
correct link from Help Menu, it navigate to
lgunitedmobiledriver_s4981man38ap22_ml_whql_ver_3. 8.1
and the newest are
LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN312AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.1 2.3
