Screen locked LG H634 - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I have a screen locked H634. Will the Octoplus "Reset Screen Lock" tool possible brick/wipe or otherwise hurt my phone.

Do I need to make sure the phone is a certain Android version before I try it? Any other things I need to consider before trying it. All I can think is that debug mode is turned off and I think Cricket has a locked bootloader.

Hello.

In order to perform Reset Screen lock operation You don't need to Enable USB Debugging, accordingly to the software manual ( press Cable & Manual button) You need to put the phone into Emergency ( Download mode):
To enter emergency mode, disconnect cable, disconnect battery, press and hold "Vol+" button and connect USB cable.
After follow software instructions, this type of operation will not get access to Your data or damage your data.

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I keep getting "Could not detect mode!" I put it into Emergency mode or Firmware Update mode which comes up on the screen after I perform the steps.

Any other ideas on where I should go with this? I've tried the other USB ports etc.

Please, make sure that You install all drives, after You put the phone into Emergency mode, open device manager and check which device is appear and post here result.

--LG G Stylo - there is a caution symbol on it
---Properties>General>This device cannot start (Code 10)

-Ports (COM & LPT)
--USB Serial Port (COM13)
---Properties>General>This device is working properly.

Try to use different USB ports for connection. Try to process the phone on another, clean (with only necessary drivers installed) PC.
