his phone was probably already eligible for unlock. if he had just went to the app first without all the backup and manual model select it wouldve probably worked anyways

This is a Qualcomm MSM8909 phone with the device unlock app. You people doesnt learn, qualcomm devices with device unlock APP can't be unlocked on today's solutions. This phone was already eligible for unlock.

There's another version of this phone (the 3G version) that uses Mediatek MT6580M. This phone I believe can be unlocked. But this is not the case, please don't confuse users by posting fake solutions.
