Need your help
I have Huawei E173s-1 unlocked and updated to UTPS16.001.05.00.45_MAC15.001.08.01.45_LNX15.001.0 8.01.45
I plug the modem in PC and I install Mobile partner but when i hit connect i have the message "the device has been disconnected or is unavailable" but i can browse it in Windows XP explorer.
when i try to update to E173Update_11.126.85.00.114_B427 or E173Update_11.126.85.00.209_B427 i have the message "the data card can't be found. Error code: 2.
the following reasons may causes the error :
a.the data card is not properly connected to PC.
b. other program is using the data card.
c.you do not have the authority of the administrator.
I checked all this point !!!
other thing I can't find the modem COM number in Control panel -->Phone and modem option --> modems.
Please help and thanks in advance

First your modem is E173s-1 not E173u-1.
You can upgrade to this one.
E173s-1 TCPUB017D07SP00C00(Normal).zip
Version is : 21.017.07.00.00 Build 27 Nov 2010

Do not use E173u-x firmware this can damage your modem.

Second when you update dashboard/firmware of modem close connection manager and Disconnect internet.Done.

Need flash to upgrade huawei E173eu-1 from kievstar. I have it unlocked by DC-unlocker but HSPA+ is locked.
Already try with E173Update_11.126.85.00.209_B427.exe but have negative answer from soft. Flash code not solve problem ofcourse.
Have 11.126.16.04.174 now.

Guyz im having troubles i;ve updated my e173-u1 by some kind of downgrader to 1st version of firmware but error occur and since then im experiencing no IMEI.... and i cant upgrade by any firmware "the wireless terminal inserted is not Firmware, update wizard can't go on"
now my modem has IMEI ERROR
any help would be appreciated
