Huawei E5172As-22 by NOS after update cannot login - GSM-Forum

Hi to All, i've a couple of Huawei E5172As-22 branded NOS firmware version V200R001C58SP102 (Portughese mobile operator) and i've successfully update with no brand firmware version V200R001C00SP208 ,but after i cannot login in web interface (192.168.1.1), user/pwd: admin , admin but no login!
I try to reset pressing reset button for 10 sec. but same problem, no login, after i try other firmware versions (V200R001C00SP066, etc...) but same no login. I can login again only if i come back to original firmware version: V200R001C58SP102. Someone can help me?

Need to edit generic firmware file to fit C58 brand version, but after you cannot access more in web page admin (192.168.1.1)

You can try this, but before you begin think that you have some possibilities to brick your router.

1. Edit and fit to C58 Russian firmware C314SP100 and flash it;
2. Edit and fit to C58 firmware C209SP205 and Flash it;
3. Flash C00SP208 general firmware without any modification.

I try this sequence but same results, all update are succesfully (after first update to megafone firmware i cannot login and i use E5172 Updater tool), also i try to change PC and Browser (delete chache too...), but when in web management page i put user / password admin/admin i cannot login.
If i come back to original firmware version i can login again

User name: admin
Password: CPE#123456 123456 are the last six numbers of your E5172 serial number

giocon71, i am facing the same problem ... after flashing to V200R001C00SP208, cannot login to web management.

Hi, at moment no solution, i try downgrade and upgrade different firmware and User/Password but no solution.

How did you manage to downgrade from 208 ? After using file MPWUDPUPDATE_102_208.BIN to change from c58 to c00 I have the admin admin problem but haven't been able to change back to C58 firmware. Care to share how to flash back ?

I have same problem with E5172s-927 V200R001C115SP100 (ooredoo Oman).
Is there any way for this problem?

i was having same problem... but have solve it.. i unlock with dc unlocker... now using glo ghana sim fine

Hi,
I have the same router. Have you tried using the update tool with huawei firmware E5172As-22(V200R001C58SP100,Portugal,operatorValue,05012FS Q) to fix what's wrong?

Also ,how did update with the no brand firmware? I am trying to do the same.

After flashing (wouldn't hurt full hard reset) connect via SSH to the router using admin.
If the connection will swear by the key exchange diffie-hellman-group1-sha1, try with the key

ssh oKexAlgorithms = + diffie-hellman-group1-sha1

Enter password SSH: 4E044890

When entering via SSH
Dial:

sh

at

AT ^ WUUSER?

AT ^ WUPWD?

The last two lines of this username and password to the Web interface of the router.
In my case it is wowygsk and Superuser # us! r! 564
