Huawei E5756 Firmware or enable 2G menu

Huawei E5756 Firmware or enable 2G menu

I have a three uk E5756 mifi modem, after unlock everything is working but the network option is stuck in 3G only, the 2G/3G menu is not available.

Checking on the Web, the UK orange version don't have this problem, only 3UK version of E5756 have disable this menu.

Anyone have the firmware to debrand this ?

Wink Huawei E5756

Hello,

I know what's the reason.

Because when you try to choose the network, your network connection is done, that is, your Huawei E5756 is connecting with the wireless network, now the E5756 is working mode and can't be changed.

You can disconnect the E5756 from the network, and then log in the web UI to choose the network, or manual search the network, choose the prefered one to register. Good luck!

I have disconnect and done a manual search, only the 3G network is available not any 2G network, the reason I belived is Three-UK have only 3G coverage, they don't have any 2G network. But for other network like Orange and Vodafone, they sell the same mode E5756 but their version can choose 2G/3G and 3G only.

The problem is the Three-UK firmware on this device, I need the debrand version firmware or the Orange Uk version of E5756 firmware.

Unlocked Huawei E5756

Hello,

If there is no network coverage from Three, i suggest you change to use the SIM card from Orange or other operators. But before you buy a new SIM card, you must make sure your E5756 is SIM unlocked and can work with the new SIM card.

And since you have the 3G network available, it's unnecessary to use 2G. my opponion.

I Lived in London, when I am at home or at work I have fibre optic internet ( 100mb+), when I am out in the street I have 4G mobile internet.

I only use the Mifi mobile device when I am on holiday, last year I use the Huawei E585 on holiday in Thailand and china, in the city yes 3G but most of the time I can only get 2G signal.

Now I think you missed the point, if the Setting is Fixed on 3G only is no good when you in a area that have only 2G signal ??

I need the setting to change to 2G/3G ( Not 3G only )

E5756

If so, the 2G network support is necessary.

Problem solved

Flash the firmware Huawei_E5756_Firmware_22.143.09.00.632_Bahrain_STC to my Mifi, now I have the network option: Auto, 2G, 3G
also wifi share the content of the onboard sd micro memory card.
