New Factory Unlocked Huawei E8372h-927 Wingle Downgrade issues, need help please. - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys,

A month ago I've purchased the Huawei E8372h-927 and its pretty new with all the latest firmware and WebUI. Also,Huawei injected autorun script in their latest WebUI for their Honor Smartphone Promotional Campaign and it's awful that every time I plug in the page pops up. I've been looking for ways to change the LTE Bands on this device and found HuaweiLTEWatch app on german forums, but unfortunately it was picking the device info. I then tried searching for a fix and came to know from forums that the latest firmware is not allowing the access for ltewatch app in which a old firmware is needed.

So I found this youtube video (How to Downgrade and Unlock Huawei E8372h by salluhassan) and followed except for unlocking which explains how to downgrade, after following the tutorial without errors my device is not working as it should. It's connecting and will be steady green light (wifi indicator) and can't access WebUI at all. The ports are still live and I can access via Putty and DC unlocker but no way to access the IP(192.168.8.1) as it doesn't show network activity.

So I'm lost now and can't determine what could have gone wrong as I can still flash the firmware and WebUI update successfully no matter what version I try it successfully updates but will not give WebUI access nor the LEDs flash. I thought of going back to my original firmware but unfortunately its nowhere available.

Please find the details below for the original firmware and WebUI that came from the factory.

S/W Version: 21.316.01.00.910
Web UI: 17.100.13.00.910

Need some pro to deal with. Please advice.
