Vodafone Egypt Huawei HiLink E303 - GSM-Forum

Well that a new modem vodafone has launched lately here in Egypt

the thing is totally different from other modem we used to know thats has com ports and a mobile partner dashboard

the modem works as soon as you plug it in your PC/Mac/linux

with this there plug-in-connect from huawei

the new modem installs a virtual network card based on Microsoft NDIS api library

that NDIS comes configured already with ip address that leads you to its dashboard

when ever i try to unlock it with dc-unlocker with different sim inserted the the dc-unlocker walk in the process and it's unlocked but whenever i get to the dashboard (from 192.168.1.1) it redirects me to a page asks for the unlock code but the box to insert the unlock code is greyed not active

the thing is i'm trying to discuss here is not me or how to unlock that little beast yeah it have good signal boost inside of it ..we/i wanna know
1-how to change its dashboard
2-is it possible to create an application that will insert a modded firmware to it
3-how to unlock it
4-that's huawei new future with these type of modems .. how we will deal with that
that gives us possibility to get com ports working

Bro i have this modem also trying to Unlock.
If we get original firmware for E303HiLink VDF Egypt then i can do something for unlock..

Modem will show only NDIS adapter in normal mode.
If you want to show modem port Application + PC UI.
Then add this URL in Address-bar and Press Enter.

Modem will restart with port enabled.

Extracted from E353 Firmware by NiRaV ;)

You can change WebUI to UK H3G I have this updater + E353 HiLink updater.
E353 HiLink firmware is not completable with E303 HiLink due to hardware change.

Firmware Version 22.157.78.00.37 have blocked unlock counter.
I tried modem accept unlock code but not unlock because of blocked counter.

If we change firmware OR patch firmware then its possible to unlock.

well thanks for the awesome reply and the link you provided cause i was upset that will be no modem port to deal with AT-Commands but there is no drivers available plus every time i plug the modem i have to send the link .. can you please provide me with the extracted firmware i'm also heard on some flippino forums that there is a method to insert some customized firmware ..but i'm missing the drivers of the new mode of the modem cause i tried the driver that stores in the ProgramData folder on C and it doesn't recognize it .. so the firmware i think is could be available .. but i'm trying to use the dashboard the normal one (Mobile partner) not the web version ..!

ah BTW i don't care to unlock the modem i have another one to use for other providers rather than Vodafone ... but as i i told ya i wanna use the modem ports and the normal dashboard not the web version

No any Mobile Partner OR other dashboard will work with HiLink Modems
Only WebUI for Setting/Connect and other utility.

Use Huawei Latest Drivers Version 4.23.13.00
Can you provide the link of flippino forums so i can contact them.

btw I will contact my friend from Philippines if he have some firmware or HiLink Unlock knowledge

it doesn't work too the hilink device is not recognized after the switching

up up .. after the switching still the two of Huawei devices denies any drivers even the ones that comes built in the modem !
